Rydal Mount Retreat Centre
A private group retreat for up to thirty people, set on three acres, in the village. It is the former 1870 school master’s residence and adjacent buildings which include a modern and well equipped kitchen (catering available if required), yoga/sewing/games room, open fire and central heating, mountain bikes and croquet/badminton lawn. It is regularly used by yoga schools, church groups, patchwork quilters and artists. It is also a favourite for family reunions and groups of friends.
